Artist Showcase Applications for 2012 are OPENShowcase application criteria include: *Artists/applicants should be Export Ready. *Artists/applicants should be available to attend AWME from 15– 18 November 2012 with no date restrictions. *Artists/applicants should have professional high quality product & marketing material, including CD, biography and images. *Artists/applicants should have management or be established as a successful self-managed group/musician. *Exclusivity is a condition of showcasing at AWME. AWME requests that the artist does not perform in *Artists/applicants should be able to tour nationally and internationally if performance opportunities are brokered.
There are 2 ways to apply: 1. Through Sonicbids HERE, or 2. Complete the application form HERE. If you apply using option 2, we would prefer a link to an EPK which has all the required information, but if this is not possible, please also mail 2CD's, Tech Specs and Stage Plan in addition to completing the application form to: AWME
Applications close Friday 20 April 2012. The AWME programming team will assess all applications received and notify successful applicants by the end of July 2012. Non-showcasing artists/bands are encouraged to attend AWME as a delegate. |
